www.tim-barber.comLast night I attended a lecture at the Pratt Institute with the legendary Tim Barber.
He’s one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to photography, and even though I aspire to create the sort of editorial / fashion work he puts out, the way he presented a lot of his earlier work and his DIY approach to projects really got me thinking about doing things differently and diversifying what I shoot. I’m so incredibly inspired and excited to think differently about how I photograph now. (Stay tuned for that, by the way. I have some great ideas that I’ve already put in motion).
I could only muster one inane question after the lecture when I went up to shake his hand. “What’s your favorite film?” Tri-X, he said.
